Making Roman Shades Step By Step

If you like to often change the curtains, today we present a simple way to make Roman shades, without being time consuming and economically.

Materials you will need: Cloth Tape or glue tension curtain rods for window Steps to make Roman shades:

1. Purchase a fabric that you like. Measure the length and width of the window area you want to cover with curtain and cuts the fabric according to size. That would be perfect were doing a hem to not get rid. You can put fabric glue around the edges, hems tape which is fixed to the ironing, or, if you well, you can sew.

2. Place the tension rods in the window as photo shown. A right on the top of the window will almost edge, and the other at a distance of about 20 cm and centered in the frame.

3. Put the top of the cloth over the bar.

4. Place the fabric over the second tension rod with most of fabric draped over the back of the rod.

5. Create the lower fold of the Roman shade and fall over the bar.

6. Pull the fabric back and fold it forward to create a top fold. They would have to stay two folds.

Now, if you want privacy, just pull the curtain and simply fold back to allow light.
